Legend
Adolf Hitler shows some kind of physical and intellectual personalities as that of Dr. Jose Rizal. Because of that, he is claimed to be a SON of the national hero of the Philippines. In addition to that, some information about him links to Rizal, e.g. his birthday.
Dr. Jose Rizal
José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda (Jose Rizal) was a Filipino polymath, patriot and the most prominent advocate for reform in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial era. He is regarded as the foremost Filipino patriot.
He is considered the national hero of the Philippines, but still not legally official.
As a doctor, he is an ophtamologist. He, himself, cured his mother's eye disease and restored her to sight. He is also a scientist. In fact, he discovered some species of animals and was named in his honor (e.g. Draco rizali - a flying lizard; Ranchophorus rizali - a toad; and Apogonia rizali - a beetle).[1] He is also a multi-lingual person who can speak Spanish, English, German, Japanese, native Filipino language and many more.
There's actually another urban legend linked to him - Jose Rizal as Jack the Ripper.
Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 (meaning, he was conceived sometime in August, 1888), and died on April 30, 1945. He was an Austrian-born German politician and the leader of the Nazi Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP) - National Socialist German Workers Party). He was chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and dictator of Nazi Germany (as Führer und Reichskanzler) from 1934 to 1945. Hitler was at the centre of Nazi Germany, World War II in Europe, and the Holocaust.[2]
He was born in Gasthof zum Pommer, an inn located at Salzburger Vorstadt 15, Braunau am Inn, Austria-Hungary, a town on the border with Bavaria, Germany. He is the son of Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl. He was the fourth child in six children. His siblings, namely Gustav, Ida, and Otto, died in infancy. He was still 3 years old when his family moved to Passau, Germany.[2]
Maria Anna Schicklgruber is his grandmother in paternal side. Alois Hitler is considered an illegitimate son of his mother because the baptismal register did not show the name of his father. He got the surname Hitler when Maria Anna (Adolf's grandmother) married a man named Johann Georg Hiedler. When they died (Johann Georg and Maria Anna), Alois was brought to the Hiedler's family, particularly Johann Georg's brother named Johann Nepomuk Hiedler. After that, Alois was legitimated and made Johann Georg Hiedler his father, then assumed the surname Hitler, which is also spelled Hiedler, Hüttler, or Huettler.[2]
Life of Rizal in Europe and Hitler
I found this information from a website, connecting details of Rizal's life in Europe and Adolf Hitler's time of birth.
[Taken from Internet:[3]]
The name of Adolf Hitler's mother was Klara Pölzl. She became a maid in Vienna. He was born an Austrian on April 20, 1889. Hitler always considers a town Linz, in Austria, as his hometown (in his Political Testament he referred to "My hometown of Linz on the Danube"). Hitler's oldest brother, Gustav born on May 17, 1885, and his sister Ida, born in 1886, both died before he was born. Bavaria was considered the "cradle" of Nazism. The Nazis made Japan one of the Axis powers. At one point they tried to prove that the Japanese were Aryans, to make the Japanese members of the "master race."

February 1, 1886 | He left Paris for Germany. He went to Heidelberg, Wilhelmsfeld, Munich (in Bavaria), all somewhat near a German–Austrian border |
August 9, 1886 | He left for Leipzig ("visiting various German cities along the way," one book says), arriving there on August 14. |
October, 1886 | He went to Dresden and then to Berlin. |
In Berlin he finished Noli Me Tangere. One of the book’s characters is named Maria Clara.
May 11, 1887 | Rizal began his Grand Tour of Europe. He went to Dresden, Teschen (now Decin in the former Czechoslovakia), Prague, and then Brunn (where he lost a diamond stickpin), and Vienna (where he got back his diamond stickpin, which was found by a maid in the hotel he stayed in Brunn) in Austria. |
May 24, 1887 | He left Vienna by riverboat to see sights on the Danube River (on the boat he saw paper napkins for the first time). His voyage ended at Linz. |
From Linz he went to Munich (where Hitler attempted a putsch in 1923) and Nuremberg (site of the Nazi Party rallies and the War Crimes trials), and other German cities.
Rizal was in the German Empire, sometimes past the German-Austrian border, from February 1886 until he went to Switzerland in early June 1887.
From May 24, 1888, until October 18, 1891 | He was in London, Paris, Brussels, Madrid, Biarritz, Ghent. He was in Europe during the time Hitler was conceived and when he was born. |
The enumerated details above assume that Adolf Hitler is not really a son of Alois Hitler, but a son of Klara in any other guy. In the website, where I got this, the author concluded this:
Hitler was conceived either in 1887 when Rizal passed through Linz or other towns (such as Brunn - How do you think he lost the diamond stickpin? And who was the "maid" who found it later and gave it to Blumentritt who forwarded it to Vienna?) near the Austrian border. In which case Hitler’s older siblings were fictitious, to cover up his mother’s being pregnant with him. In other words, Hitler was actually born before 1889. Or he was conceived in August 1888, when Rizal was supposedly in London. Or perhaps in September 1888, when Rizal went to Paris for a week (to have a rendezvous with Klara?). Maybe he went to Paris in 1889 so he could communicate more easily with the now-expecting Klara? Klara Polzl’s affair with Rizal may have centered around Linz, which is why the Hitler family moved there later (so Mama Hitler could live where she had An affair to Remember), which would explain Hitler’s fondness for the town. |
Klara Pölzl
Anyway, before I make any comments about the author's conclusion; first, I would like to give you a brief introduction of Klara Pölzl's life.
Klara Pölzl (Klara Hiedler Pölzl) was born Austrian on August 12, 1860. Her parents were Johann Baptist Pölzl and Johanna Hiedler-Pölzl.
When she was 16 years of age, in 1876, she was hired by Alois Hitler as a household servant (a maid). Then when Alois' second wife died - Franziska Matzelsberger, he married Klara on January 7, 1885 in a brief wedding held early that morning at Hitler's rented room on the top floor of the Pommer Inn in Braunau. Alois, at that time, was in his mid 40s when he married Klara.[4]
Four months later, she gave birth to Gustav on May 15, 1885. Then followed by Ida on September 23, 1886. Both children died of diphtheria during winter of 1886-1887. Another child was born and died at the same time in 1887, his name is Otto. Adolf was next born, followed by Edmund and Paula. Edmund died of measles at the age of five. Thus only two of her children survived childhood.
When her husband - Alois Hitler died in 1903 he left her a government pension. She sold the house in Leonding and moved with her two children to an apartment in Linz.
Three or four years later, she was diagnosed with a tumor in her breast. She died because of toxic medical side-effect of her iodoform treatment on December 21, 1907. The poor children were left with their mother's pension.
Conclusion
After recounting a brief story of Klara Pölzl's life, now we can proceed to a conclusion.
First of all, yes, it is obvious that Adolf Hitler is conceived in the year 1888 because he was born on April 20, 1889. But Rizal and Klara Pölzl have no connection with each other. They might had seen each other but simiar to strangers you meet every where. They didn't have any relationship, even a simple friendship.
The author also assumed that the diamond stick might had been found by Klara Pölzl because she was a maid, but she didn't work in a hotel. She was hired as a maid by Alois Hitler in 1876. Thus the maid who found the precious jewel was not her.
Another one, the author also assumed that Adolf Hitler's older siblings were fictitious, which in fact real. They were not made just to cover up Adolf.
To make the story short, Linz became special to Adolf Hitler because that was the place where he, his girl sibling and mother lived. The place with many memories of his childhood life.
By the way, the author assumed those to show what might had been the reason or origination of the urban legend. He (the author) created it to show us what this person (the real one who spread the urban legend) might had thought to connect Adolf Hitler's and Dr. Jose Rizal's life.
That might be the rationale behind such a fantastic claim based on information that can be gathered from any high school textbook on Rizal and any good biography of Adolf Hitler. Naturally, this can only be done through selective use of the evidence, but it does make for an amusing piece of historical fiction.[The author said][3]
Here's other conclusion:
Blogger and urban legends Junkie Paulo Ordoveza cites Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), History teacher Glenn Garfield Ang's detailed chronology of Rizal's stint in Europe from Jose Rizal, the Renaissance Man, a reference CD-ROM available at the AdMU History Department. "Rizal was in London from June 1888 to September 1888, after which he went to France and spent some time there," Ang writes. "Hitler's birthday is April 20, 1889. Giving an allowance of nine months from conception to birth, Rizal should have been in Austria in July 1888, if he were indeed Hitler's natural father. But this is contradicted by the fact that Rizal was in London in July 1888 and remained there until September 1888. Therefore, it is completely impossible for Rizal to have been the natural father of Hitler."
